About the event

Under the leadership of the Hon’ble Chief Minister and Minister-in-Charge of the Skill Development Department, the Sikkim INSPIRES program has empowered 13 women nurses with German language training, preparing them for careers in Germany’s esteemed healthcare sector. Eleven of these exceptional candidates, who successfully completed their training, were felicitated with certificates and khadas at the Magey Sankranti Mela in Jorethang on 14.01.2025 by the Hon’ble CM. They are set to depart for Germany within 90 days to begin their careers in reputed hospitals. This milestone highlights the State Government’s commitment to empowering women, creating global career opportunities, and showcasing Sikkim’s talent internationally. The inspiring women—Ashraya Pradhan, Sangita Khatiwada, Anumika Rai, Susmita Basnett, Pranaya Bhusal, Pinkey Gurung, Priyanka Gurung, Shreya Rai, Reeya Darjee, Sanjana Pradhan, and Prerna Rai—embody resilience, determination, and excellence as they embark on their promising futures.
