The Programme is to be conducted at Block Level in the presence of Block Development Officer, Honourable Panchayat and local populace of the area. The Main motive to conduct the one day geological awareness programme are:

1. To aware the local populace regarding the Geological hazard and its consequences.
2. Power point presentation on various topics like Landslides, flash flood and Site Suitability selection for constructions in hilly terrain will be presented by Senior Geologist and Assistant Geologist of the Department. Further, short awareness video on importance of land stability zonation report prior to construction will be displayed among the participants.

 

The interactive session will also be held after the presentation where the queries of local populace were addressed by the Geologist of the department.
