The ‘National Consumer Day’ was observed by the department at MG Marg, Gangtok. The event was marked by flagging off of bike rally of Dirty Angels Motorcycle Club (NGO) from MG Marg, Gangtok to Singtam by Shri. Bhoj Raj Rai, Hon’ble Minister Food & Civil Supplies Department and Dr. S.K. Rai, Chairperson, State Food Commission. The rally was successful in dissemination of consumer awareness messages through distribution of banners and pamphlets
